I have been told that in general elections no one has won by a victory margin of 5.7 lakh votes. This is a record that the people of Vadodara have set.Gujarat has done a record, with 26/26 seats to BJP.
The second big achievement for me is the Varanasi seat.
There is no enemy in politics. I want to assure everyone that we will want to take everyone along. Irrespective of who is in the opposition, I want to take everyone along. To run the government and country we want to take everyone along. In the next 60 months the country won't get a mazdoor like me. Even my opponents don't doubt my hardwork. Every second of mine is now dedicated to the country. I will serve the country.
This election is significant because of multiple reasons. After independence, most governments have been that of the Congress. Its happened for the first time that a non-Congress government has won a simple majority and come.
We were not fortunate enough to be participants in the freedom struggle. We have the fortune to live for the nation. Countrymen, it is time not to die but to live for the nation.
This is the power of people, which will shape the future of India. You trust me and I trust the people of India. It is the citizens of the country who will lead it into the future
The government is not of a party, it is of the country. It is the government's job to think for the people. People of this nation have given a verdict. The verdict says that we have to take India forward.
We have to fulfill the aspirations of the people. Does anyone doubt my potential to to work hard? I am Mazdoor No 1. I have been CM four times, I have never taken a vacation.
