The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, met the
President today (May 17, 2014) and tendered his resignation and that of
his colleagues from the Council of Ministers.
The President accepted the resignation and has
requested Dr. Manmohan Singh and his colleagues to continue in office
till the new Government assumes office.
