Unethical alliance of RJD-Congress, no pact on stage sharing & assembly seats

With Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) declaring that there will be ‘no alliance’ over by elections for  assembly seats in Kochadhaman, Baisi, Chiraiya, Maharajganj and Sahebpur Kamal, the strangeness of their electoral alliance only for Lok Sabha seats is out in open.

It seems Lalu Prasad has refused to share stage during election rallies with Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi because of their corrupt practices which got exposed in the matter of KG-basin, coal, 2G, commonwealth games, defence deals, Robert Vadra affairs etc.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi are not sharing the stage with Lalu Prasad because he has been convicted in the fodder scam, is out on bail and has been barred from contesting elections by the court.

RJD-Congress are contesting together for Lok Sabha polls. RJD is fighting on 27 out of 40 seats in Bihar. Congress on 12 seats.

The elections for both the five assembly seats and the parliamentary seats is happening simultaneously.

The core question is if Congress and RJD deem each other so unfit that they cannot even share stage and will refrain from fighting assembly elections together, what is the 'moral' compulsion to be in alliance for parliamentary elections. Indeed politics makes strange bed fellows.
