For me,the equation is quite a puzzle as #Modiyapa# adds Hindutva flavour to this historical visit and at the same time,RSS strikes deal with those forces which are best known for minority persecution in Bangladesh. Mind you,RSS had been insisting that Modi should make an issue of the persecution of Hindu minorities in Bangaldesh and the issue is made. Whereas RSS wants border with Bangladesh SEALED to stop illegal immigration! But the Maggie Massala Diplomacy is turned to be Hindutva Diplomacy yet again as it had been in Bhutan and Nepal!

Palash Biswas

Official stance of RSS is quite against illegal migration and RSS has no sympathy for those minorities in Bangladesh who are subjected to persecution!

RSS wants border with Bangladesh SEALED to stop illegal immigration! Calling the India-Bangladesh deal a "landmark" move, RSS mouthpiece Organiser has cautioned the government that a "Jammu & Kashmir-like imbroglio on India's eastern border" will arise, if illegal immigration from Bangladesh is not checked.

But the Maggie Massala Diplomacy is turned to be Hindutva Diplomacy yet again as it had been in Bhutan and Nepal!

I have been addressing the issue since 2003 as follows:

Mr. PALASH BISWAS DELIVERING SPEECH AT BAMCEF PROGRAM AT NAGPUR ON 17 & 18 SEPTEMBER 2003 Sub:- CITIZENSHIP AMENDMENT ACT

The Ruling Zionist and Brahaminical Hegemony and its India Incs Government have launched UNPRECEDENTED Monopolistic Aggression against the Aborigin Indigenous India. The target remains to EXPLOIT all Natural Resources without any Mercy. Tribal Scheduled Areas are under seize. Unique Identity Project and Citizenship Amendment Act together create an AGENCY to ROB Citizenship of the owners of the Natural resources! Environment Hype is Killed with shifting Jai Ram Ramesh. Now Mining Amendment Bill is followed by Land Acquisition Bill 2011, which has to redefine PUBLIC Interest as CORPORATE Interest! The decks for the New Act is clear as Mamata Banerjee is apparently happy and TRINAMOOL CONGRESS to back the Bill!

In India,RSS banks on minority persecution in Bangladesh to provoke Hidnutva in Bengali demography and continuous refugee influx followed by the infinite suffering of the migrants boosts hinutva.Taslima Nasrin had been living in India since she wrote Lajja with the theme of minority persecution,Just before Modi`s visit to Dhaka ,Taslima Nasrin has been shifted to United Sates of America under human right umbrella.US VISA is not so available and it seems quite a wonder.

Mind you,RSS on Wednesday said it would request Prime Minister Narendra Modi to raise the issue of safety of Hindu minorities inBangladesh with the government of that country during his trip there beginning on June 6.

Government of India hitherto had been muted on minority persecution in erstwhile East Pakistan and later,in Bangladesh.Though RSS had been banking on this hot currency,is never pursued the issue and rather introduced measures to loose Hell against those who migrated because of minority persecution.

NDA government violated united nations charter for refugees, international laws and the very frame work of Indian constitution to declare refugees from East Bengal illegal infiltrators and subjected to  be deported,Thus, the nationwide deportation drive launched in 2003 by then NDA government without addressing the problem of continuous refugee influx due to minority persecution.

Rather,NDA promoted continuous hate campaign agains Indian minorities making an issue of minority persecution in Bangladesh to polarize Indian people on religious lines and used everything available to prove minority persecution in Bangladesh.

It is quite contradictory that RSS,on the other hand aligns with those war ciminals,Razaakars,Rapists and Killers united under the umbrella of BNP Jammat combine which does everything to kill democracy, secularism and Bangla nationalism in Bangladesh.

It is believed in Bangladesh that minorities there support Awami League and tend to vote for Awami league.Hence, in any situation of political violence the Opposition chose minorities as soft target.

For me,the equation is quite a puzzle as Modiyapa adds Hindutva flavour to this historical visit and at the same time,RSS strikes deal with those forces which are best known for minority persecution in Bangladesh.

Mind you,RSS had been insisting that Modi should make an issue of the persecution of Hindu minorities in Bangaldesh and the issue is made.

As Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived here on a two-day visit, Bangladesh's Hindu community on Saturday said they live in "constant fear of persecution" by the religious fundamentalists and wanted the Indian leader to take note of this and raise it with the Bangladeshi leadership.

"The religious majority and the fundamental groups want the Hindus to leave this country, where we are born and brought up," said Rana Dasgupta, general secretary of Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council.

He said Hindus are under the "constant fear of persecution" by fundamentalists and felt India, as a global player, could help improve their conditions. "We feel Narendra Modi, being the Prime Minister of India, should send out a strong message to the fundamental forces of Bangladesh that attack on minorities will not be tolerated," Dasgupta told PTI on a day Modi arrived Daka on his maiden visit.

Renowned theatre activist Piyush Bandopadhaya wants Modi to voice the concerns of the minorities especially the Hindus with his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina. "No doubt the Sheikh Hasina government is very friendly towards the minorities but we feel that if Modi steps in, it will be more fruitful," he said.

Human rights groups and Hindu leaders in Bangladesh have been demanding more security for minorities amid regular reports of attack on them in several parts of the country. "We feel that if both the countries resolve together to fight against fundamentalism and religious terrorism of majority community on minority community. Then the problems of attack on minorities will be solved. We, the people of Bangladesh, want to live up to the principles propagated Sheikh Mujibur Rehman," ruling Awami League leader Pankaj Debnath told PTI.

Senior ministers of Bangladesh government feel the condition of minorities is much better than it used to be during the BNP rule. "It is a basic psychological factor that minorities of any country always feel insecured. But the Awami League government is a secular government and protection of the rights of religious minorities of our country is our topmost priority and duty.

"The minorities in Bangladesh are safe and whenever any untoward incident happens, we take stern action," said Minister of State for Home affairs, Asaduzzaman Khan.

Palash Biswas

Citizenship Amendment (Dual Citizenship) Act

and the illegal immigration issue is another good example of the

politics of the ruling classes.

clauses and informed the audience about the sacred parliamentary

process and votebank oriented political parties. This new act has

deprived all partition-victim refugees from erstwhile East Pakistan,

settled or unsettled, of citizenship, domicile certificats, human

and civil rights. He also highlighted the demography and power

equation of Bengal which prompted the caste hindu Leaders to go for

partition. They divided Bengal for the post of CM as the undivided

Bengal and India would not allow all caste hindu leadership either in

centre or states.

Clear, I had not to elaborate this point.

Ambedkar had been defeated in Maharashtra and the Congress had

closed every window for him. But Mr Jogendra Nath Mandal and the

Dalits from East bengal districts of Khulna, Barishal, Jassore,

Faridpur, Kumilla ,etc got him elected for the constitution assembly

from Bengal. Later, Baba Saheb became the main architect of the

Indian constitution which opted for parliamentary democracy guarded

with reservation with fundamental rights. Ambedkar knew well that

the castesystem with inherent inequality and injustice would not

allow to happen a democratic setup without proper social reform

measures neglected by Congress. Thus, the Dalits were afraid that

the power transfer would enthrone the Brahmnical rule ultimately.

Ambedkar could not secure separate vote for Dalits in British India

due to the Poona Pact resulted from the famous fast of the father of

the nation. But , in free India, Babasaheb succeded to ensure

constitutional reservation for the downtrodden underclasses.

Reservation meant equal opportunity to the denied marginal

untouchable classes.

But post modern production system captured by Imperialist corporate

alliance worldwide nullify this constitutional provision in India.

Brahminical system sustained for thousand and thousand years as they

ensured the monopoly of knowledge and armament. The Dalits lost the

game of intellegentia. Information explosion, supertechnogy and post

modern marketing have once again marginalised the underclasses as

the media and state power allover, altogether are run by the ruling

caste hindus.

Ambedkar said: educate, agitate and organise.

THe dalits don`t know their history. They are deprived of history

and geography. They forgot that only they consist of the mainstream

which is captured by aggressors.

In Bengal Particular, No one is aware of the most recent history,

the mystery of partition.

Much hyped socalled renaissance sidelined the abolish untouchability

achievement of Harichand Thakur right in the nineteenth century.

Everyone knows Vidyasagar for education and the fight for the rights

of woman. But nobody tells about Guruchand Thakur who opened

thousands of educational institutions as the renaissance school

colleges denied the underclasses admission as in thier worship

places.

Bengal forgot the great fight of ten thousand peasants who evented

NEEL VIDROH.The Renaissance phenomenon alligned with the British

rulers meant social reforms in the cast hindu interests only. As

most of them were Zamindar, the Bengal greats supported the British

at the time of sepoy mutiny, the first freedom struggle and at the

time of the uprise of peasants, too.

With the partition, the political power of Namoshudra, Rajbanshi ,

Paundraksatriya and other militant castes and tribes made diluted

because not only were they desettled from their base areas of east

bengal, but the became the only partition victim community scattered

over this subcontinent without any political representation.

Thus, the caste hindu leadership of Bengal and India diluted the

national dalit movement launched by Baba Saheb Ambedkar and Jogendra Nath mandal.

There is no agitation at all. All agitations are politically

targeted at vote bank.

The much talked about social changes in North India, Participation

of Dalits in power, Mayabati- Lalu- Mulayam phenomenon have not

dethroned the Brahminical system. On the contrary , all this

altogether strengthen the caste system, the inherent inequality and

injustice. Reservation has created an affluent, selfish and

opportunist new class which has created some high profile Nav

Brahmins who undermine their own roots.

Well, I had to tell about the positive things, too. The refugee

movement in Uttaranchal which enjoy the local mass support of all

communities and that of media also. Because it maintained the

nonpolitical character and motivated for survival as Indian Citizen.

Just read this media report published in India on 3rd June:

'Bengal's Diminishing Hindus' - that is the headline on the cover of the latest issue of Organiser, the English mouthpiece of the RSS.

Published in the run-up to PM Narendra Modi's first visit to Bangladesh, the lead story in the May 24 edition of Organiser showcases the 'pitiable' plight of Bengali Hindus in the Islamist nation and its 'cascading effect on demography' on this side of the border — not only in West Bengal, but also in Assam and other northeastern states bordering Bangladesh.

The story warns that "Hindus are solely, but irreversibly, moving towards extinction in Bangladesh. That is the inevitable conclusion of Bangladesh Census 2011." It mentions how the Hindu population in Bangladesh went down from 12.13% in 1981 to 8.60% in 2011.

It then dwells at length with the series of attacks on Bengali Hindus in Bangladesh and in its earlier avatar, East Pakistan, and explains how Islamist fundamentalists are implementing their agenda of doing away with all vestiges of Hindu existence after partition, in the first phase, and since 1971 (the year Bangladesh was born) till now, in the second.

The subject and the "facts" are clearly a "reminder" for Modi as he gets set to meet Sheikh Hasina in Dhaka on June 6 and 7. Modi will also have Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee as company on his visit. RSS leaders in Bengal told HT on Tuesday that Modi "would do well to visit the temples and ashrams in Bangladesh that suffered terrible attacks in 1971 and have never been rebuilt".

"If he wants to visit a temple in Bangladesh, he should visit Ramna Kali Mandir in Dhaka. It was partly demolished in 1971 and has not been reconstructed. He can also visit Jagatbandhu Ashram in Faridpur. There, eight sanyasis were shot dead, also in 1971," Bidyut Mukherjee, prant pracharak of RSS in Dakshin Banga, said.

The 44-year-old Mukherjee is one of the senior RSS leaders in charge of south Bengal. He was the personal assistant of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat between 2004 and 2007.

"The Prime Minister should try to ensure that Hindus don't come under new attacks in that country," Mukherjee said, adding, "In Bengal, both the state and the central governments must ensure that terrorist and fundamentalist elements don't get to spread their wings further."

"Since the first partition of Bengal in 1905, Hindus have been on the receiving end on communal lines… Unfortunately, here too, the vote bank politics started by the Congress, nurtured by the communists and now being milked by Trinamool Congress has only accentuated the spread of Islamic radicalism," the write-up mentions while summing up the situation in West Bengal.

Again read this!Published on 17th May,2015:

Raising the issue of illegal immigration between India and Bagladesh, the BJP's ideological mentor the RSS has demanded that the newly-approved Land Boundary Agreement should be followed up by sealing the border between the two countries.

The saffron outfit said it would help check the menace of illegal immigration.

The Centre recently approved the historic Land Boundary Agreement with Bangladesh.

RSS says that sealing the border between the two countries would help check the menace of illegal immigration.

Calling the India-Bangladesh deal a "landmark" move, RSS mouthpiece Organiser has cautioned the government that a "Jammu & Kashmir-like imbroglio on India's eastern border" will arise, if illegal immigration from Bangladesh is not checked.

"This landmark deal should be followed up with the illegal immigration issue. Otherwise, we will have to deal with another Jammu & Kashmir-like imbroglio in the future on the eastern border... Now with borders marked, it is time to address the issues pertaining to illegal immigration," an editorial in the latest edition of Organiser said.

"The illegal migration and subsequent changes in demography have resulted in vote bank considerations surpassing national security concerns," it said, accusing both the previous governments in West Bengal — the Left government and the incumbent Trinamool Congress government led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee — of not reining in the trend.

"There are an estimated 1.5 crore illegal Bangladeshi immigrants in India," Organiser alleged.

The RSS alleged that during the four-year Trinamool Congress rule, there have been more than 300 incidents of communal violence and rioting in Bengal.

The saffron outfit termed the Mamata government's lethargic response in these cases alarming. It also voiced concern over reducing population of Hindus in Bangladesh on account of growing radicalisation.

It cited Bangladesh Census data to make the point that Hindus are slowly but surely vanishing from Bangladesh. Besides, it took a dig at the secular voices in politics, academics and media for turning a deaf ear to such incidents.

"Time has come to call spade a spade", the article said.

Another article in 'Organiser' highlighted the plight of Hindus since the Partition of Bengal in 1905.

"The atrocities and forcible migration of Hindus continue from the erstwhile East Bengal, East Pakistan and now Bangladesh," it alleged.

The editorial also voiced concern over "radicalisation" of Bangladesh, saying: "Whether to curb radicalisation or go the Pakistani way are the options Bangladesh has to explore, but India definitely should not bear repercussions of radicalised Bangladesh on Indian soil."

The RSS spoke of Hindus migrating to India "in large numbers as refugees" and Muslims entering the neighbouring states as illegal migrants.

"This has been a bone of contention in Assam, to some extent in Meghalaya and largely in Paschim Banga. Since the communists took the baton of 'secular' politics in Bengal, they systematically nurtured their constituency on communal lines," it said, raising concerns on the "attacks on Hindus" in West Bengal.
