Some 5000 people marched to the Chief Minister's residence seeking implementation of the Forest Rights Act 2006, allotment of land to lakhs of farmers who have pattas on paper; rehabilitation of the Kosi flood victims and families displaced due to the change in the course of the river on the March 5, 2014. There was protest demonstration on March 6 in front of the Bihar Bhawan under the banner of Delhi Solidarity Group. The action of lathi charge and arrest of the Dalit and Adivasi activists cannot be approved. Some nine activists were arrested and sent to the Beur jail.
