Thank to #ambedkarcarvan for reminding us the historic day today when Dr Ambedkar demanded equal representation for scheduled castes. The spirit of Baba Saheb must prevail even today when democracy is being threatened by the corporate brahmanical forces who want to deny the Dalits and other marginalsied people their due share in power. Yes, the caravan of Dr Ambedkar will always fly and it need much more vigour today as the forces of subjugation are using all their money, muscle and state power to eliminate the marginalised and their assertion. How important was the demand for separate or proportionate electorate system to protect democracy which is now victim of First Past the post system. We need to raise this demand for PES again to fulfil Dr Ambedkar's dream for a truly democratic India.
