The real critique of Ram has never come from the left but Dalit-Bahujan perspective. Sudershen Rao hail from Telangana and must have heard or read two critique of Ramayana. One from his South in Tamilnadu by Periyar and the other from his north by Baba Saheb Ambedkar.Let me say here, the first question of Justice is restoring the old structure there as promised by P V Narsimharao whose silence support to Sangh Parivar is well known and documented. Apart from political question, it has land issue too. During the digging archaeologists have found remnants of Buddhist era. ICHR work is to do research and not to convert mythologies into research. Perhaps ICHR chairman does not need historians but 'kathawachaks' babas who can speak hours and hours on ramkatha and sing bhajans too.. may be they can 'save' history from being monotonous.
