Nitish to take office after Kejriwal's swearing in ceremony ?

Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar who is waiting with 130 MLAs in a state assembly of 243 to re-form the government in Bihar congratulated Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal for leading his party to a massive victory in Delhi's Assembly elections with 67 MLAs in a state assembly of 70. JDU is all set to form government with the help of coalition partners after the wearing in ceremony of AAP government.

Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi from JDU who has been expelled from the party has decided in a cabinet meeting that economically weak section of the upper caste and class will be given reservation in government jobs. This decision comes ahead of Governor's imminent decision to convene the session of the state assembly for trial of strength between Nitish Kumar led coalition and Manjhi led faction. JDU leaders who have defected and are supporting Manjhi reportedly at the behest of BJP are being termed Jaichand, Mir Zafar and Jiwan Lal who are deemed traitors in Indian history.

Nitish Kumar is likely to meet the President on February 11. Bihar Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi's role in taking a view on the claim to form government made by Kumar based on letters of support of 130 MLAs, is being questioned. The MLAs were physically present in the Raj Bhawan when the letter was submitted. It is being said that the delay is giving space for horse trading-a reference to sale and purchase of MLAs.
