Is it?

We have been posting updates right from Bangladesh.

Modi does not read anything but Indian PRINT,I am afraid.

Bangladesh media hails Modi trip but raises concerns over Teesta impasse!

This is worsened with his Adani Ambani connection as Bangladesh media complains that Modi visited Dhaka not for either Indian or Bangladeshi interest as the land agreement should not be credited to him alone as Modi Media forgets.

Bangladesh media screams aloud that this blitz is all about Adani and Ambani!

Never before it happened.
Never before any Indian Prime Minister on foreign land has been branded somuch so business friendly that reduced him bottom down to a mere corporate agent of some companies!
Shame on the Nation as the Feku Maharaj may not be ashamed of.
Hence,we should take notice that Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee bailed out the Nation!

Bangladesh respects Vajpayee, the discarded BJP leader an Ex Prime minister whom Indira Gandhi chose as the face of the Nation during 1971 liberation War in Bangladesh.Vajpaee diplomacy was not this Maggie Massala diplomacy and personally,I consider the best ever diplomat in Indian History.Never did Vajpayee toed the RSS line to represent the Nation as Prime minister,as minister of foreign affairs.

He has the decisive role to get USSR and the rest of the world against US threat. RSS and the Nation forgot the Old Man but Bangladesh Remembers and confers the Bangladesh Liberation War Honour!

Thanks Bangladesh to recognize the Man whom his party dumped in the DUSTBIN.

Bangladesh on Sunday conferred its prestigious liberation war honour on former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for his "active role" in its independence struggle and consolidating friendship with India.

President Abdul Hamid handed over the Bangladesh Liberation War Honour to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a glittering ceremony at Bangabhaban, the President's house, which was attended by Premier Sheikh Hasina and top officials.

"This day is a matter of great pride for all Indians that a great leader like Atal Bihari Vajpayee is being honoured. He dedicated his entire life to the service of the country and he fought for the rights of the common man and from a political point of view he was our inspiration for political workers like myself," Modi said after receiving the award on behalf of 90-year-old Vajpayee who is unwell.

He recalled the words of Vajpayee, who during a speech in Parliament on December 6, 1971, had said that the friendship between India and Bangladesh was like a bond which would not break under any pressure, and would never be the victim of any diplomacy.

Bangladesh Prime Minister Hasina Wajed simply spoke for the Nation before the head of RSS governance of fascism!

The Prime minister of Bangladesh said that Bangladesh feels respected conferring the honour  to the Indian Leader!

PM Modi ,the Almighty, with  his business friendly portfolio overloaded with Ambani and Adani packs and the cent percent Hindutva agenda, could not prove himselfas the real leader of the nation hitherto, I am afraid.

What words Hasina used, please read the original in Bengali as follows:

What Modi did say?
Modi said that though he had entered politics quite late, he had been one of the many youth activists who had come to Delhi in response to Vajpayee's call for Satyagraha for the liberation of Bangladesh in 1971. He described himself as one of the crores of people who wanted this vision to be realised.

However,Bangladesh's mainstream media on Sunday gave front page coverage to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's maiden visit here, hailing it as the "dawn of a new era" in bilateral ties while lamenting the lack of "definite progress" on the contentious Teesta water sharing issue.

Bangladesh's mainstream media on Sunday gave front page coverage to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's maiden visit here, hailing it as the "dawn of a new era" in bilateral ties while lamenting the lack of "definite progress" on the contentious Teesta water sharing issue.

"The New Horizon in relations", read the headlines of mass circulation 'Prothom Alo' newspaper, with the report highlighting that the visit had yielded 22 agreements and MoUs to take bilateral ties to a new height. In its main editorial, the newspaper said, "for different reasons, the visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be remembered...the visit is going to resolve the border dispute and enclaves which was pending unresolved for nearly seven decades."

The widely circulated 'Samokal' carried the headline "Friendship in new height" and highlighted Modi's comments in which he paid tributes to Bangladesh's founder and his counterpart Sheikh Hasina's father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. It also highlighted the Bangladesh premier's priorities for enhanced connectivity. Leading English newspaper, 'The Daily Star', carried the headline, "Dawn of a new era", with its subtitles saying "Hasina, Modi, pledge mutual growth; land deal documents exchanged; 22 deals signed; USD 2 billion fresh Indian credit."

In an editorial titled, "No breakthrough on Teesta", the newspaper, said, "we did not expect the (Teesta) deal to come through on this visit but had certainly hoped for some definite progress in the regard." The Financial Express newspaper in its headlines said, "Modi assures fair solution to Teesta, Feni river waters". The headline was followed by a sub-heading which read, "Everything to be done to bridge trade deficit, he says".

Modi, after holding talks with Hasina on Saturday, had expressed confidence to have a "fair solution" to the Teesta and Feni river water sharing issues with Bangladesh "with the support of state governments in India".
The Teesta water is crucial for Bangladesh, especially in the leanest period from December to March when the water flow often temporarily comes down to less than 1,000 cusecs from 5,000 cusecs every year. The New Age, widely known for its anti-government stance and bias towards ex-premier Khaleda Zia's Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), carried the visit as its main report, saying "Modi gets transit boost; He pledges fair share of Teesta water, Hasina for fulfilment of commitments."
