High Court directs District Magistrate, Bhojpur to remove water-logging on the State Highway (SH) No. 102, running from Jagdishpur and crossing through Bihiya

In Lal Bahadur Mahto vs. The State of Bihar & Ors. (2025), Patna High Court's Division Bench of Acting Chief Justice Ashutosh Kumar and Justice Partha Sarthy delivered the judgement on May 2, 2025 saying, "The District Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara shall look into the matter and liaise with the other authorities and shall cause to remove such water-logging from the State Highway." 

The direction has been issued because the representations made by the petitioner before the S.D.O., Jagdishpur, Bhojpur yielded no result in the matter of water-logging on the State Highway (SH) No. 102, running from Jagdishpur and crossing through Bihiya, several accidents have taken place. 

The Court observed: "Let a fresh representation in this regard be filed by the petitioner before the District Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara for the needful.
